Great event for an international convention.
We have some more time as in 1994 to visit the city. Traditional walk to the Djema’a el Fna Square and to the souk (market). We also go to the Majorelle Gardens who have been restored by the top French designer Yves Saint Laurent and by Pierre Bergé; what a wonderful fresh place.
Those typical places look really like in the touristic guidebooks. Even when we walk in the neighboring streets, in or around the old city, it is difficult to tell what is the image for tourists and what is the real life of the local population.
