At the end of the year 2018, Omar Pasha is booked by the “L’Évènement Spectacle” productions for Christmas shows in Paris and around Paris. It is always a pleasure to perform for the employees from large companies and their families and children.
Among a whole series of shows with a festive and friendly atmosphere, a great memory emerges : a Christmas performance for the «Comédie Française» Theater* staff (actors, stage technicians and administrative employees), their children and families. This happens on the prestigious stage of the Richelieu Theater. Upon our arrival in the wings, we are warmly welcomed.
The stage is perfectly cleared and equipped for the artists of this Christmas show. This means that all the stage set for the show of the day before was entirely removed, and that it is going to be rebuilt for the evening show.
What an emotion to receive such a nice welcome from this expert and connoisseur audience.
* The Comédie-Française is one of the few state theaters in France and is considered the oldest active theater in the world. It is the only state theater to have its own troupe of actors. The company’s primary venue is the Salle Richelieu in Paris. The theater has also been known popularly as « The House of Molière ». It acquired the latter name from the troupe of the best-known playwright associated with the Comédie-Française, Molière. He was considered the patron of French actors. He died seven years before his troupe became known as the Comédie-Française.
